SPECIFICATIONS & BODY CONSTRUCTION
This guitar is my signature as a builder. My answer to the question of what is my perfect guitar both from a players perspective and a builders perspective.
The Signature features a unique semi-hollow construction, a set-neck with deep tenon, wraparound bridge, and a solid timber top. Option f-holes allow you to tailor the tone from either open and broad, or mid forward and direct.
Sonically, imagine your favourite T-style guitar had a love child with your favorite semi-hollow body, and then add some extra harmonic content from the use of a solid timber top. That is where the Signature lies. Clear, warm and focused, yet still having just enough fatness in the right places, plus the extra air and richness that can only be found from a semi-hollow guitar.
While I have never been a firm believer that one guitar can cover all bases, this guitar is as close as I could possibly get! The perfect companion for both stage and studio.

SEAMLESS BACKPLATES
A Signature guitar requires signature backplates. Not only are each set of backplates made from matching body timber, but also matching thickness to the back of the guitar. Combined with high stength neodymium magnets for attachment, when in place these truly become one with the body.
These are not just your average backplates used to cover electronics cavities!
NECK JOINT
Extra long neck tenon and an extra deep heel for added mass in the area it matters most.
This extra-large neck joint allows for an extremely solid neck-body fit and solid connection which aids in increased sustain.
CONSTRUCTION
Sustain is such an important sonic character of any instrument, especially electric guitar. The Signatures internal cavities were specifically designed to provide the best in resonance and acoustic output without sacrificing sustain.
You get all of the air and presence that can only be found in semi-hollow guitars, with the sustain and note bloom of a solid body.
HEADSTOCK
Each Signature headstock is embelished with a pearloid Conway logo inlaid into the headplate of choice as well as a handmade timber truss cover made from timber matching the fretboard.
The highest quality bone nuts are chosen for optimal tone.The addition of 2mm hardwood headplate (ebony as standard ) further increases headstock stability.
BRIDGE
Nothing beats the simplicity and functionality of a well designed wraparound bridge. This is why it was chosen as the standard for the Signature model. Offerings from ABM, Schroeder and Shaller are unparalleled in quality and chosen for their amazing engineering.
Not only this, but conventional push in bushings are swapped out for 30mm long threaded inserts which are tapped and screwed directly into the body for coupling and stability that push in bushings simply cannot provide. This increases energy transfer from bridge to body to help maximise volume, harmonic content and sustain.
PREMIUM TONEWOODS
All timbers are hand selected for every Signature model.
Bodies are chosen for weight, resonance and tone based on your desired tonal preferences. All necks are quartersawn as standard with strength and stability of the highest priority. Fretboards are chosen for hardness and resonance, and are also quartersawn as standard.
