How many guitars do you make per year?
I have availability to build approximately 30 guitars per year and generally book multiple custom builds in 6 month blocks in order to maximise productivity

Why don’t you just use a CNC machine?
A hand-built guitar is a work of art, meticulously crafted to be exactly what the client wants. As a luthier, I love making guitars by hand, not watching machines make them!

Can you build me a guitar from a shape that I have designed myself?
Sadly not, far too many variables involved for this to be viable.

What colours do you offer?
I pride myself on trying to match any colour, whether traditional or custom. So just let me know what colour you would like and I will see how close I can get!

What neck shapes do you offer?
Check out the Specs page for a full rundown of options!

Can I supply my own pickups/hardware?
In most cases, absolutely – just get in touch and let me know what you’ve got!

Can I supply my own timber?
Timber is not quite as straightforward. I hand select all of the pieces of timber that I stock and ensure that I know their provenance and how well they have been processed/dried/stored. If I can be confident the timber you have meets these criteria, then yes!

How long will it take to build my guitar?
6 months is my standard build time from start to finish. Lead time however (the time before I can start building your guitar) varies depending on the amount of orders I have at a particular time. All of these I will let you know of before taking on your custom build.
